Kilmarnock Concert Brass elected not to play and were replaced by Greenhall
Rhos Silver were disqualified due to an alleged player registration breach but contested the decision in a court of law. The band won their case as the court decided that no rules had been breached. A further court case was required to re-award the title but Rhos did not have the funds available to pursue this. Both Rhos and Bathgate are left being able to claim the title.
